About CAN-RESTORE

What do we do?

Welcome to CAN-RESTORE, a dynamic network dedicated to achieving optimal health and well-being for transplant candidates and recipients through physical fitness and rehabilitation. CAN-RESTORE harnesses international collaboration, interdisciplinary expertise, and leadership in exercise and rehabilitation.

Our initiatives are clear:

1. Disseminating evidence-based knowledge

We are committed to disseminating evidence-based information on physical fitness and rehabilitation tailored to the unique needs of transplant candidates and recipients. Through collaborative research and knowledge exchange, we ensure that the latest advancements in exercise and rehabilitation are accessible to healthcare professionals and patients alike.

2. Building healthcare capacity

We endeavor to build capacity within the healthcare system for the delivery of evidence-based exercise and rehabilitation programs for transplant candidates and recipients. By providing training, resources, and support, we empower healthcare providers to integrate exercise and physical activity into the care plans of transplant patients.

3. Empowering transplant recipients

We empower transplant candidates and recipients to prioritize their health and well-being through physical fitness. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we strive to equip individuals with the knowledge and resources they need to lead active and fulfilling lives after transplant.
